Courier Health, a technology firm focused on managing patient experiences, has successfully closed a $50 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by Oak HC/FT, with continued support from existing partners Norwest and Work-Bench. This new capital is earmarked for advancing product innovation and cementing the company's leadership in orchestrating patient journeys within the life sciences sector.

Addressing a Fragmented Patient Journey

The life sciences industry often struggles with patient engagement despite significant clinical breakthroughs. According to a recent report, a majority of biopharma companies report having fragmented data, which hinders effective patient support. This disconnect stems from siloed systems and poor coordination, creating a significant gap between prescribed treatments and patient adherence.

An AI-Powered Orchestration Platform

Courier Health directly confronts these challenges with its comprehensive technology platform. The system connects disparate data sources and applies artificial intelligence to identify at-risk patients and generate actionable insights. By doing so, it orchestrates a seamless experience across the entire patient journey, from initial education to long-term therapy adherence.

The platform's architecture includes deep data integrations and intelligent, AI-driven workflows. It provides intuitive interfaces for market access teams and deploys AI agents to automate key tasks reliably. This equips biopharma companies with the necessary visibility and control to improve interactions with providers, pharmacies, and patients.

Strategic Vision and Investor Confidence

Founder and CEO Danny Sigurdson stated that the company's vision is to rewrite the patient experience by simplifying complex medical journeys. He emphasized that the partnership with Oak HC/FT provides the strategic capital needed to scale the platform and its AI capabilities. This investment will also support the growth of their team to ensure customer success and better patient outcomes.

Billy Deitch, a Partner at Oak HC/FT, noted that the life sciences field has long needed a purpose-built platform for patient management. He praised Courier Health for delivering on the promise of patient-centricity where others have fallen short. Deitch highlighted the company's essential infrastructure and thoughtful AI strategy as key drivers for its rapid adoption by the industry.

Fueling Rapid Growth and Expansion

The funding follows a period of remarkable expansion for the New York-based company. In 2025, Courier Health saw a more than 400% increase in the number of customers and therapies supported on its platform. To accommodate this surging market demand, the company also more than doubled its headcount during the same period.

The $50 million injection of capital will be used to accelerate this momentum. A significant portion of the funds will be allocated to further investments in the company's team and product development. This strategic allocation aims to bring Courier Health's innovative technology to an even broader range of customers in the biopharma space.

This Series B funding round marks a pivotal moment for Courier Health, empowering it to scale its operations and enhance its technological offerings. The investment underscores strong market confidence in the company's mission to solve critical patient engagement challenges. As Courier Health expands, its platform is poised to set a new standard for patient-centric care in the life sciences industry.
