Collective X Health, a women's health and performance intelligence platform, announced on October 13, 2026, that it has emerged from stealth with an oversubscribed US$3.2 million Pre-Seed round. The investment was co-led by Council Capital and Anthemis Female Innovators Lab Fund, with participation from SoGal Ventures, Emerson Collective, Muse Capital, and Segal Ventures. Early customers are already licensing the company's women's health intelligence through an API to support accurate health, performance, and recovery insights built on bias-corrected female research.

Addressing a systemic research gap

The company was created because women were not required in NIH-funded clinical trials until 1993, and many AI models trained on that research default to male data. This imbalance contributes to misdiagnosis, ineffective care, and advice that does not fit women's bodies. Companies adding cycle tracking, hormonal insights, and AI-assisted care often lack a trusted source of women's health evidence to build on.

How the platform works

Collective X Health turns peer-reviewed research and female-specific data into a structured, auditable intelligence layer that is licensed through an API. Unlike general-purpose AI, every insight cites its sources, ensuring that each output is research-backed. The platform can serve as a product's entire women's health database or validate an existing one.

Scientific leadership and partnerships

The company's scientific backbone is its Research Lead Collective, headed by Dr. Stacy Sims and more than 20 recognized MDs and PhDs who hand vet the research base. Research Leads are eligible for a grant program launched with a US$200,000 commitment from Momentous to help close the gender data gap in sports science. Collective X Health has research and data partnerships with academic journals, Open Medicine Foundation, WildAI, and Eternal, and a pipeline of more than 50 prospective partners.

Funding priorities and leadership

The new funding will be used to deepen research across every life stage and condition, expand the company's intelligence, scale early enterprise demand, and drive new research in women's health. The leadership team includes co-founder and CEO Lindsey Abramo, Chief Brand Officer Angelica Marden, and Dr. Stacy Sims. Advisors include Mel Strong from Next Ventures, Dorothy Kilroy from Oura, Anne Bradley from Honey Mirror, and Amber Taylor from Les Mills.

Investor confidence

Elizabeth Davis, Partner at Anthemis Female Innovators Lab Fund, said Collective X Health's edge is not a smarter model but a smarter foundation underneath the model. Rachel Tsui, Partner at Council Capital, added that the team brings scientific rigor, product expertise, and years of women's media distribution. Investors view the platform as a shared evidence layer for the women's health ecosystem.

Market context

Women's health is not a niche market, according to co-founder and CEO Lindsey Abramo, who noted that women represent half the population while less than 9% of NIH funding reflects that reality. The company argues that every business claiming to serve women should be able to show the research behind that claim. This market need has contributed to early demand from more than 50 prospective partners.

Collective X Health positions itself as a B2B intelligence layer for wearables, digital health platforms, performance brands, and sports teams. By grounding women's health products in vetted, bias-corrected research, the company aims to improve outcomes for women and drive new research. Its emergence from stealth signals growing enterprise demand for reliable, research-backed women's health intelligence.
