Indian home and kitchen company Chapter Home has raised ₹63 crore from Bessemer Venture Partners, Stride Ventures, investor Tanmay Bhat, and several family offices. Announced on October 22, 2026, the financing combines equity and debt and values the company at approximately ₹1,000 crore. The investment will support product development, category expansion, technology, brand building, and distribution.

Funding and Expansion Priorities

Chapter Home plans to use the new capital to strengthen its operations as it develops a portfolio of brands serving different household needs. Its immediate priorities include introducing additional products, investing in technology-enabled operations, and expanding its ability to reach customers through multiple sales channels. The company is also preparing its first physical retail touchpoints.

The financing brings together venture capital and debt funding, although the company has not publicly specified the amount attributable to each component. Individual investor contributions and the precise equity terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The reported valuation provides a benchmark for the young business as it pursues growth in India's competitive home and kitchen products market.

Developing a Portfolio of Consumer Brands

Founded in 2025, Chapter Home aims to establish category-focused brands rather than rely on a single label for its entire product range. Its areas of interest include bed and table linen, cookware, home décor, and small kitchen appliances, covering both everyday essentials and products associated with home improvement. The strategy allows the company to develop distinct consumer propositions while coordinating operations across its portfolio.

HOKIPO, an online home furnishings brand, represents Chapter Home's first category launch and initial entry into the consumer market. The company intends to build on that starting point by entering additional home and kitchen categories, although launch dates remain unannounced. How these brands are positioned and distributed will shape the company's ability to serve different customer segments.

Technology and Shared Infrastructure

A shared operating platform underpins Chapter Home's approach to managing several brands within one company. Sourcing, supply chain processes, content production, technology, and distribution are coordinated across the business instead of being developed entirely separately for each brand. This model is intended to provide a common foundation as the company adds products and expands into new categories.

Chapter Home also employs artificial intelligence in activities ranging from product cataloguing and content creation to demand forecasting and assortment planning. Its reported applications extend to customer targeting and retention, placing data-driven tools within both operational and marketing functions. These applications form part of its strategy to coordinate product and customer decisions across brands.

Expanding Online and Offline Distribution

Chapter Home plans to sell products through online marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, its own direct-to-consumer channels, and physical retail outlets. This approach would give its brands access to several purchasing environments rather than depending exclusively on one digital storefront. The proposed physical touchpoints will mark a further step in its distribution development, although locations and opening dates have not been announced.

Founders and Market Positioning

Chapter Home was established by Nitin Chugh, Akarsh Bharadwaj, Shrey Mittal, Dhiraj Jain, and Dheeraj Goyal, who previously held founding or leadership roles at PharmEasy. Chugh has described India's home and kitchen market as fragmented, with an opportunity for brands offering stronger design, reliable quality, functionality, and customer experience. His comments reflect the company's intention to build focused brands around the needs of different product categories.

With ₹63 crore in new equity and debt financing, Chapter Home is preparing to broaden its home and kitchen portfolio beyond the HOKIPO brand. Its planned investments combine new product development with shared technology infrastructure and a wider mix of online and offline sales channels. The next phase will test how effectively the young company can translate that operating model into a larger consumer business.
