Atira, an AI company focused on industrial commercial response processes, has announced a $15 million Seed round led by Accel. The round, combined with a previously undisclosed pre-seed round from UVC, Fortino Ventures, and booom, brings the company's total funding to $17.5 million. New individual investors include Ann-Kristin Achleitner, Marc Bitzer, Dr. Markus Flik, and Bastian Nominacher.

The Manual Burden of Complex Industrial Sales

Industrial manufacturers have spent decades automating their factories, yet the dialogue between customer and supplier remains largely manual. When buyers submit complex requests for quotation, sales engineers, bid managers, and technical teams must review hundreds or thousands of pages of specifications and compliance requirements. This work, which sits between CRM and ERP systems, often takes weeks or months and is rarely addressed by traditional software.

A Large Market Opportunity

Atira estimates that more than $128 billion is spent globally each year on labor for these commercial response activities. The potential revenue left untapped is significantly larger. The company positions its platform as a way to unlock this value by reducing the time and effort required to respond to complex industrial opportunities.

An AI Orchestration Layer for Commercial Response

Atira describes its product as an AI orchestration layer that sits between CRM and ERP systems for industrial companies selling complex products and services. The multi-agent platform automates the commercial response process end to end by screening and structuring incoming requests for quotation. It also evaluates feasibility, helps configure the right solution from available modules, and generates technical and commercial documentation.

Integration and Knowledge Compounding

The platform connects with existing CRM, ERP, and CPQ systems, allowing manufacturers to integrate it directly into workflows already in use. Atira reports that customers can achieve up to 80 percent shorter ask-to-bid times and turn processes that once took weeks into days. The system also compounds knowledge by turning historical proposals, configurations, and deal outcomes into structured intelligence for future opportunities.

Funding and Investor Support

The new $15 million Seed round is led by Accel and brings total funding to $17.5 million when combined with the previously unannounced pre-seed investment from UVC, Fortino Ventures, and booom. The round also includes industry leaders such as Ann-Kristin Achleitner, Marc Bitzer, Dr. Markus Flik, and Bastian Nominacher. The capital will support Atira in serving customers globally and scaling the production of tailored, market-leading engineering products and services.

Early Traction with Global Industrial Leaders

Atira has reported more than 15 customers in production since launching commercially in 2025, spanning mid-market industrial leaders and global enterprises with billions in revenue. Customers include ABB E-Mobility, Chiron Group, Rema Tip Top, Robel, Theegarten-Pactec, and Fette Compacting. ABB E-Mobility has deployed Atira globally, while Chiron Group is expanding its deployment from Germany into the United States.

Measurable Results in Global Deployments

Rema Tip Top uses the platform across sales teams in Australia, Brazil, and Chile, and a large plant engineering group is applying it to projects worth hundreds of millions of euros. Atira states that customer deployments are producing measurable results within weeks. The company also says the platform helps sales and engineering teams standardize processes, preserve institutional knowledge, and focus on higher-value technical decisions.

With its new funding and growing customer base, Atira is positioned to address a costly and largely manual part of industrial sales. The company's AI-driven approach aims to reduce response times, protect expertise, and improve commercial decision-making for complex manufacturers. As industrial companies increasingly seek efficiency gains beyond the factory floor, Atira's orchestration layer may become an important tool for modernizing how complex products and services are sold.
