Argentine payment infrastructure company Rebill has raised US$5.4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round, pushing its total funding above US$9 million since its founding in 2020. The company provides payments technology that lets businesses accept local payment methods in multiple countries without establishing legal entities in each market. The new financing will support expansion across Latin America and the United States, along with the development of two additional business lines.

Investor Participation and Existing Backing

The round included renewed investment from Guillermo Rauch, founder and CEO of Vercel, and a SpaceX executive who invested in a personal capacity. Rebill's existing investors also include Tiger Global, Y Combinator, SV Angel, Soma Capital, and Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi. This mix of institutional funds and technology operators provides Rebill with both capital and strategic connections for its next growth phase.

Planned Use of Funds

Rebill will allocate the new funding to consolidate operations in its six existing countries, attract larger clients, and strengthen its presence in the United States. The company also plans to enter Peru as part of its next phase of geographic expansion. These moves are intended to help Rebill multiply its business by ten over the next 12 months and serve larger enterprises with more complex international payment needs.

Solving Cross Border Payment Complexity

Rebill addresses a structural problem for merchants that sell internationally. Accepting local payment methods such as installments or bank transfers typically requires a company to set up a local entity, negotiate with banks and processors, and comply with local regulations. Rebill enables businesses to collect payments like a local operator while managing collections across markets from one platform.

Operational Footprint and Recent Growth

Rebill currently operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States. Between January and September, the company quadrupled its active merchant base and tripled its monthly payment volume, with reported revenue growth of more than 900% between September 2025 and October 2026. Its client roster includes Henry, Assist 365, and TripleTen.

New Product Lines: Treasury and Platforms

With the new capital, Rebill will deepen its existing market presence and accelerate two product expansions. Rebill Treasury allows companies to hold balances in multiple currencies, convert funds, and pay suppliers and partners in different markets without maintaining separate bank relationships. Rebill Platforms enables software companies and marketplaces to offer collection and payment services under their own brands while Rebill runs the underlying infrastructure.

Strategic Goals and Market Positioning

Founder and CEO Nahuel Candia said the goal is to make collecting payments in Mexico, Brazil, or the United States as simple as collecting domestically. He noted that current processes often require months of paperwork and agreements, which limits regional companies seeking international growth. Rebill also plans to place artificial intelligence at the core of its operations and client services rather than treating it as a separate feature.

Rebill's Pre-Series A round positions the company to expand its payments infrastructure across the Americas while moving deeper into treasury management and embedded payments. The company competes with international players such as Stripe, dLocal, and EBANX, and holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification as well as its own licenses in key markets. By targeting larger merchants and adding new products, Rebill aims to consolidate its role as a financial infrastructure provider for businesses operating across borders.
