Alocity, a pioneer in AI-powered physical security, has announced the successful completion of its Series A funding round. The investment, led by a private investor group and founder Marco Quintero, is set to catalyze the company's growth and product development. This new capital will be instrumental in expanding Alocity's engineering, sales, and marketing teams while scaling its network of security integration partners.

A New Paradigm in Physical Security

The funding arrives as artificial intelligence reshapes user expectations for enterprise software, demanding more intuitive and intelligent interactions. Alocity is at the forefront of this transformation within the physical security sector, moving beyond complex dashboards. The company aims to deliver a seamless operating experience where technology understands human intent rather than requiring users to learn intricate systems.

Central to this vision is Aimee, Alocity's AI Operator for Physical Spaces, which unifies disparate security functions into a single conversational interface. Operators can simply state their objectives, and Aimee interprets the intent, coordinates across connected systems, and executes the required actions. This integrates access control, AI video intelligence, and visitor management into one cohesive and intelligent platform.

Integrating AI with Existing Infrastructure

A key aspect of Alocity's strategy is its ability to enhance rather than replace existing security infrastructure, protecting customers' prior investments. The platform achieves this through deep integration with industry-standard Mercury Security controllers for access control. Additionally, its NVidia-powered AiVR device brings embedded AI intelligence to existing camera systems through secure, on-premise processing.

This approach provides organizations with a practical and cost-effective path toward modernizing their physical security operations. By extending the capabilities of current hardware, Alocity significantly lowers the cost and complexity typically associated with adopting advanced AI technologies. This allows for a smoother transition to a more intelligent and responsive security environment.

Strategic Growth and Market Vision

The new capital will accelerate the development of Alocity's AI platform, enhance its enterprise capabilities, and deepen strategic technology partnerships. Founder and CEO Marco Quintero noted that the next generation of software understands how people work, not the other way around. He emphasized that Aimee was built to deliver an intelligent operator that performs work on behalf of users.

Chief Revenue Officer DJ Atkins added that the industry has been saturated with added features and complexity for decades. He stated that the next wave of innovation is not another product but a fundamentally different and unified experience. This vision positions Alocity to lead the market's shift from disconnected products to intelligent, integrated operating systems for physical spaces.

This Series A investment solidifies Alocity's position as a key innovator bridging proven security infrastructure with next-generation AI. As the company expands its operations, it is poised to redefine how organizations secure, manage, and interact with their physical environments. The focus remains on creating a simpler, more intelligent future for the entire physical security industry.
