Conveo has raised $50 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate the growth of its AI-powered consumer research platform and support its continued expansion. The round included backing from DST Global, Balderton Capital, Visionaries, 6 Degrees Capital, and Y Combinator, according to the company’s announcement. The financing marks a significant step for Conveo as it seeks to scale a platform designed to help companies gather and interpret consumer insights more continuously.

Building a New Approach to Consumer Research

Founded by Hendrik Van Hove and Dieter De Mesmaeker, Conveo was created around the idea that artificial intelligence could allow businesses to listen to consumers more frequently, deeply, and at greater scale. The company says more than 400 enterprises now use its platform, including Google, Unilever, AB InBev, and Canva. That customer base gives Conveo a foothold among large organizations seeking faster ways to understand how consumers respond to products, campaigns, and strategic decisions.

AI-Powered Video Interviews

Conveo’s platform uses AI-led video interviews to collect consumer feedback while adapting follow-up questions to participants’ responses rather than relying entirely on a fixed interview script. This approach is intended to make qualitative research more dynamic and to surface insights that may not emerge through conventional surveys or rigid interview formats. By automating parts of the research process, Conveo aims to help companies run consumer studies more frequently without reproducing the same manual workflow for every project.

Continuous Insights Through StoryLines

The company has also introduced StoryLines, a product designed to support ongoing research around a brand’s recurring questions and priorities. Instead of commissioning separate studies each time a new question emerges, customers can use the system to build a continuously updated body of consumer knowledge that can be accessed across teams. Conveo positions this model as a way for organizations to make research more persistent and easier to integrate into marketing, product, and strategic decision-making.

Investor Support for Expansion

The Series A brings together investors with experience backing technology companies at different stages of growth, including DST Global, Balderton Capital, Visionaries, 6 Degrees Capital, and Y Combinator. Conveo previously participated in Y Combinator’s Summer 2024 batch, giving the company early institutional support as it developed its product and commercial strategy. The new capital is expected to strengthen the company’s ability to expand its operations, invest in product development, and deepen adoption among large enterprise customers.

Scaling Enterprise Adoption

Conveo’s growth reflects increasing corporate interest in using artificial intelligence to accelerate research workflows that have traditionally required substantial time and manual coordination. The company is positioning itself as infrastructure for ongoing consumer understanding rather than as a tool used only for isolated research projects. As more enterprises experiment with AI-based research, Conveo’s challenge will be to maintain the quality and reliability of its insights while scaling the platform across a broader range of customers and use cases.

With $50 million in new Series A funding, Conveo is entering a larger phase of expansion as it builds its AI-driven consumer research business. Its combination of adaptive video interviews, continuous research tools, and growing enterprise adoption gives the company a clear strategy for competing in a rapidly evolving market for AI-enabled insights. The next stage will test how effectively Conveo can convert its new funding and existing customer momentum into sustained growth across major global markets.
