Aden, a precision health company backed by US$2 million in Seed funding, will open in the UAE this October. The company is launching a membership model built around repeat measurement rather than one-off blood testing. Its goal is to help members understand their biology over time and act on the results more effectively.

How the Membership Works

Members begin with an at-home blood draw that covers more than 125 biomarkers across key body systems. Test results are returned in about 48 hours, giving people a faster and more convenient starting point than traditional lab visits. The company then uses that information to create a personalized health protocol focused on what needs attention first.

Personalized Protocols and Repeat Measurement

Aden uses the initial results to create a personalized health protocol that identifies what needs attention first. Six months later, members complete another blood test, allowing the company to compare new results with previous data. This process helps update the protocol based on measurable changes rather than relying on isolated readings.

Building a Broader Biological Picture

The longer-term plan is to build a more complete picture of each person's biology over time. Aden intends to add genetics, microbiome, body composition, and VO₂ max data to its platform. These different types of health information will eventually sit together in one place for a more integrated view of health.

Leadership Perspective

Sarah Cronin, PhD, Aden's founder and CEO, said most people receive a blood test and struggle to act on a page of numbers. She explained that people want to know what needs attention and whether the changes they are making are working. According to Cronin, that is the problem Aden focuses on solving.

Regional Health Challenges and Momentum

Aden enters the UAE as the country increases its focus on prevention and earlier intervention. Non-communicable diseases account for nearly 77% of deaths, while metabolic and cardiovascular conditions remain significant health challenges. The UAE is also investing in longevity and precision medicine through initiatives such as the Dubai Longevity Authority and Abu Dhabi programs in health data and personalized healthcare.

Positioning and Expansion Plans

Cronin said the UAE has real health challenges but also a willingness to approach them differently. That combination matters to the company as it aims to help people understand their biology earlier and build a clearer picture of how their health changes over time. Aden is targeting other GCC markets and global wellness hubs next.

About Aden

Aden is a precision health membership that brings together biological data over time to help people understand and act on their health. Its model uses repeat measurement and personalized health protocols rather than isolated testing. The company provides health analysis and information, does not offer medical diagnosis or treatment, and is accepting waitlist registrations at aden.health/get-started.

Aden's entry into the UAE reflects a broader shift toward prevention and personalized healthcare in the region. By combining repeat testing with practical health protocols, the company aims to make biological data more useful for everyday decision-making. Its initial focus on the UAE and later expansion into other GCC markets and global wellness hubs will test whether this membership model can gain traction.
